Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Last updated: May 26, 2026
Introduction
We Live to Build ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you about how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
Data We Collect
- Identity Data includes first name, last name, username or similar identifier.
- Contact Data includes email address and telephone numbers.
- Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.
- Usage Data includes information about how you use our website, products, and services — including pages visited, buttons clicked, scroll depth, and time spent on pages.
- Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.
How We Use Your Data
- To register you as a new customer.
- To process and deliver your order.
- To manage our relationship with you.
- To enable you to participate in a survey.
- To administer and protect our business and this website.
- To deliver relevant website content and advertisements to you.
- To use data analytics to improve our website, products/services, marketing, customer relationships, and experiences.
Analytics & Tracking
- We use PostHog (posthog.com) for product analytics. PostHog is initialised with capture_pageview set to false, meaning we manually fire page-view and page-leave events on every route change rather than relying on automatic URL sniffing. This gives us accurate single-page-app navigation tracking.
- PostHog collects: page views and page leaves (including time-on-page derived from the gap between the two events), button and link clicks, form interactions, scroll depth, session recordings, browser type and version, operating system, device type, approximate geolocation derived from IP address, and a randomly generated anonymous distinct ID stored in a first-party cookie.
- When you subscribe to our newsletter or download an ebook, we call posthog.identify() with your email address. This links your previously anonymous analytics history to your email so we can understand the full journey from first visit to conversion. You may request deletion of this linked profile at any time by contacting us.
- PostHog data is stored on servers hosted in the United States (us.i.posthog.com). By using this site you consent to this transfer. PostHog is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See posthog.com/privacy for PostHog's own privacy policy.
- We use Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager to measure traffic and audience behaviour in aggregate. Google Analytics data is processed under Google's privacy terms.
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.
- To opt out of PostHog tracking, you may: (1) enable the "Do Not Track" signal in your browser settings — PostHog respects this signal and will not initialise; (2) use a browser extension that blocks posthog.com or us.i.posthog.com; or (3) contact us directly to request deletion of any analytics data associated with your identity.
Data Sharing
- Service providers acting as processors who provide IT and system administration services, including PostHog (analytics), Google Analytics (traffic reporting), Kit/ConvertKit (email), and Stripe (payment processing).
- Professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors, and insurers.
- Regulators and other authorities who require reporting of processing activities in certain circumstances.

- Request correction of your personal data.
- Request erasure of your personal data.
- Object to processing of your personal data.
- Request restriction of processing your personal data.
- Request transfer of your personal data.

Legal Basis for Processing
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.
- Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
- Where we need to comply with a legal obligation.
Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a business need to know.
