Last updated: April 13, 2026
Introduction
This Podcast Guest Release Agreement ("Agreement") is between the individual booking a guest interview ("Guest") and We Live to Build ("the Show"), operated by Sean Weisbrot. By checking the acknowledgment box on the Calendly booking form, the Guest agrees to be bound by all terms set forth on this page. If you do not agree, you may not complete the booking.
Ownership of the Recording
By checking the acknowledgment box on the booking form, the guest grants We Live to Build ("the Show") full, exclusive, and irrevocable ownership of the recorded interview, including all audio, video, and derivative works created from the session. The guest waives any claim to joint authorship or joint ownership of the recording under copyright law. Nothing in this Agreement restricts the Guest from using their own likeness, voice, or statements made during the interview for their own promotional purposes.
Editorial Control
The Show retains sole and absolute editorial discretion over how the recording is edited, produced, and presented. This includes the right to cut, rearrange, or otherwise modify the content without further approval from the guest. The guest agrees not to dispute editorial decisions or demand changes to the published episode, except for factual errors like guest name, company name, company URL.
Name, Voice & Likeness
The Show owns the recording outright and is granted a perpetual, worldwide right to use the guest's name, voice, likeness, biography, and any materials the guest provides (including headshots, social media handles, and company descriptions) for the purpose of promoting, distributing, and monetizing the episode across all present and future platforms and formats.
Monetization
The guest acknowledges and agrees that the Show may monetize the episode and related content (including but not limited to advertising, sponsorships, premium subscriptions, and licensing) without any obligation to share revenue with the guest. The guest is not entitled to any compensation, royalties, or other consideration arising from the Show's monetization activities.
No Takedown Rights
The guest irrevocably waives any right to demand the removal, modification, or de-publication of the episode after it has been released. The Show is under no obligation to unpublish any episode based on a change in the guest's personal or professional circumstances, public perception, or personal preference.
Guest Representations
The guest represents and warrants that: (a) they have the full legal right and authority to enter into this agreement; (b) their participation and any materials they provide do not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights; and (c) nothing in their interview constitutes defamation, fraud, or violation of any applicable law.
How Agreement Is Formed
Agreement to these terms is formed when the Guest checks the acknowledgment checkbox on the Calendly booking form that reads: "I agree to the Podcast Guest Release Terms." Completion of the booking constitutes the Guest's electronic signature and full acceptance of this Agreement. No physical signature is required.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction as determined by the Show.
